What is Belotero hyaluronic acid treatment?
The Merz Aesthetics laboratory presents Belotero, a filler of hyaluronic acid crosslinked with lidocaine, an anesthetic that reduces pain by facilitating treatment, perfect for preventing and treating the signs of facial aging caused by the passage of time.
Present in five versions, Belotero is the range of state-of-the-art hyaluronic acid fillers developed with the patented dynamic cross-linking technology that generates, among other results, the polidensified cohesive matrix or CPM®. This revolutionary technology provides unique properties that allow the gel to integrate perfectly into skin tissues. In the same injection, those areas of lower density will make the hyaluronic acid integrate much better and naturally in the tissues, and in the case of higher density, they will give the projection or volumes that are being sought according to the treatment, thus obtaining optimal results.
This injectable hyaluronic acid gel has unique qualities:
Cohesiveness and viscosity: the ability of the gel to remain united allows a homogeneous integration in the tissues. This is one of Belotero’s strengths, since its high level of cohesiveness allows to obtain completely natural results.
Elasticity: the ability of the gel to return to its initial form after being subjected to pressure, allows a good support on the skin.
Plasticity: enables excellent malleability to model and shape the gel.
Rehydration: quenches the thirst of the skin. It helps revive the skin complexion while improving skin firmness, tone and elasticity.
Hyaluronic acid is used both for the prevention of wrinkles and for active rehydration, tightening and smoothing of the skin of the face, neck, neckline and back of the hands.
In a complete facial treatment different versions of Belotero can be used, from the lightest of fillers that act as straighteners, to deep volumizing fillers that can replace lost tissues and reconstruct the facial contour.
